Our Story
Founded on friendship. Built on compassion.
N&K Companionship was created by Nadia and Kirsty after years of working together in a nursing home. As a nurse and an activities coordinator, they spent countless hours supporting elderly residents, building real relationships, and bringing comfort, dignity and joy into everyday life.
Along the way they noticed something: many residents could still live independently if they simply had regular companionship and a little practical help at home. Families wanted to do more, but work and everyday life made it hard to be there every day.
With elderly relatives of their own, Nadia and Kirsty understood exactly how much reassurance and friendship can mean — so they founded N&K Companionship to help older people stay happy, independent and connected, in the place they know best.

A flat rate of £40 per hour, covering companionship, meal preparation, shopping assistance and appointment support. Payments are taken weekly, with no long-term contract and a simple monthly renewal.
